Platten was the Chief Design Architect with the South Australian Housing Trust. The two to three storey town houses were designed to be noise tolerant with the service rooms and kitchens facing the street and the living areas facing an internal park.
RAIA (SA Chapter) Commendation and Civic Trust Award in 1982.
Platten designed Stage Two after resuming private practice in 1980.
