In 1922 Woods, Bagot, Jory & Laybourne Smith prepared drawings based on the design of English architect Peter Paul Pugin, for an enlarged font and proposed enlargement of the sanctuary, chapels and sacristies. Jory designed the pulpit which is considered one of the most important examples of his church furniture.
