Bagot designed an extension for St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral in Victoria Square, Adelaide, in 1922-6. The cathedral is the work of a number of architects beginning in 1851. Bagot’s contribution is based on the original Gothic style plans drawn up by Augustus Welby Pugin (Marsden, Stark and Sumerling 1990, p.181)
