'The structure itself represents a prime example of an 1880’s boom time pair of attached dwellings
built for investment and occupation ... Each house has six main rooms over two floors plus cellar. There is a gross building area of approx. 483 sq.m. Interestingly the houses, rather than being on
the street frontage like so many row dwellings were, are set back within the boundaries thereby allowing for garden spaces all round' (Beaumont, D.A. ‘Advocacy: 325 Wakefield Street’, Heritage Living, National Trust of South Australia, Autumn 2010: 14-150).
They have been nominated for the State Heritage Register.
